Obituary of James Francis Sheppard, Victoria Mines

We, Carol Ann, Mark, Blair and Raisins, are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our father, Jim, age 82, at home on Sunday, January 10th, 2021. Born in New Waterford, he was a son of the late James Francis and Doris (Hearn) Sheppard. Predeceased by his wife, Willena (Romard) in 2015, he is also survived by his grandchildren, Breanna, Hannah, Lauren, Gianna and Darian as well as his first great-grandson, Beau James Sylvere Palmer. As per Da’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Patient Care Fund at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Hospice/Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton, or VON Cape Breton. “Keep an eye on things Da”.
