Condolences to the Petrie family from former neighbor at opposite intersection of Queen and Catherine. One fond example of Faye’s generosity as a child was one year at Halloween she ran out of treats but instead of turning out the lights (as they’re were only minutes left until Halloween was officially over) she handed out 50 CENTS. As a kid, I was blown away and looked forward to choice of treats I could buy at B&Ws. :)
Was glad to have Faye as a neighbor; we’d always exchange a greeting the many times I’d catch her and Russel sitting on the step shaded by the crab apple trees during the warmer months especially with their beloved family poodle.

Kathy, Harry, Derick and family. We were so sorry to hear of Faye's passing. We often visited them when they were camping at Hay's River and Glencoe. Always a fun time. Faye and I also worked together at Maple Hill Manor. She was a joy to work with. She was an all around delightful person who will be missed. RIP dear friend.

We are so sorry to hear of Faye's passing. A very close friend of my Mom I have many chilhood memories of us being together
camping and stopping in for a cup of tea with mom as you say at the "'Do Drop Inn". I always enjoyed meeting Faye when I was home for a visit and our little chats.. When I think of Faye I will always remember her hardy laugh and the little twinkle in her eyes.
