I am so very saddened to hear of Lawrence’s passing. I have such fond memories of him - a man of few words, gentlemen to the core and a smile that would light a room. Never did I meet up with him was he not smiling or would he not stop to have a chat. I remember being amazed as a child at his ability on the speed bag and his love of the sport.

My family and I are devastated to hear this news. Lawrence was salt of the earth kind of guy. I remember visiting Dave on a long weekend from university where Lawrence and Barbra were kind enough to host me. Lawrence was so proud of his home gym area and was so excited to show us how to box with the speed bag and show us how much weight he could lift. We are heartbroken to learn of Lawrence’s passing. I always enjoyed seeing him around Ocean Fuels when I was home from Halifax and he always make a point to come and say Hello. I had a great visit with Lawrence the end of August and had a cold beer and talked sports especially Boxing, so happy I did. Cherish your great memories of a great gentleman and we will be thinking of you through theses difficult times.

Gabe and i are saddened today to hear of the loss of Lawrence.We are comforted by the fact that his passing was peaceful and know that he is now at rest.
