Charlie, as I knew him, will be missed greatly. I am 45 years removed from living in Gardiner Mines but when I visited my family home, Charlie was always out and about and ready to chat. Always interested in how you were doing. Recent memories are of Charlie in his "shed/man cave" with a fire, sometimes cooking and always ready to talk, driving his Mower and sitting on the front step. Always ready to share his fish "smelt" and cucumbers. Charlie was part of the character of Gardiner Mines and I will miss talking to him and the vision of him sitting on the front step looking over Lingan Bay and Dominion Beach. As life time neighbours, I am so sorry for your lost and many prayers go your way.
