Obituary of Erma Grant, Dominion

The family of Erma Grant are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of her beautiful spirit on May 6, 2021 at home in Dominion at the age of 89 with her son Kevin and his girlfriend Frances by her side. Born in Point Edward in 1931, Erma was predeceased by her husband, Melbourne “Hunna”, parents, Sidney and Ethel (Rudderham) Watson and her sister, Ida Weigel. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her son, Kevin (Frances), daughter, Beverly O’Donnell and her sister, Marjorie MacInnis. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tommy, Julie, Doris O’Donnell and Angela Dean, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Erma loved animals, visiting friends and going for walks. She was a fan of game-shows, wrestling and puzzles. She always had a pleasant smile and kind words for everyone she met. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Glace Bay.
