Obituary of Roderick Daniel MacNeil

MACNEIL, Roderick "Roddie" Daniel Dominion We the family regret to announce the sudden passing of our brother, Roddie, age 66 on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at home. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Michael Peter and Frances Lydia (MacAulay) MacNeil. Roddie is survived by sisters, Ann (Harold) Campbell, Michelle (Donnie) Campbell, Phyllis (Dwight) Smith as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Roddie was predeceased by one brother, Neil. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay with Fr. Leo Boone officiating. Interment in St. Anne’s Cemetery. We would like to thank Tom Donovan and the staff of the Dominion Community Guest Home for the excellent care and kindness Roddie received over the past five years.
