It just amazes me that I came across this posting. I remember Allie from my childhood when he visited with my aunt Mary Ann when we lived in roxbury massachusetts my mom was Sarah Ann mcisaac (martin) Mary Ann's sister. I remember going out dancing with tootsies and often wondered about seeing her again. When I was first married Angus was visiting and would often go out with my husband in his kilts lol. So sorry to hear about allies passing and wish I had a closer relationship with my relatives in New waterford I was 14 the last time I was in New waterford. While my uncle was at Harbourstone, I'd prepare surprise treat packages and call Allie to deliver them.
My uncle had no family other than I, which meant very few visitors.
Allie was so kind to take the package, visit with Moe and play cards.
He would drop down afterwards and let me know how things were.
I thought you'd like to know that Allie touched our hearts through his kindness.

So sorry to hear of Allie ‘s passing. He was a true friend to my mother. Allie was so good to Peggy. He would take her for her groceries and bring her groceries into her apartment . We always felt our mother was safe getting taxis knowing Allie would take care of her.
