To Johns Family, I first got to know John back in 1990 when I worked at Bisson's Irving on Plumber ave. John was in about every day or second day if not to buy gas, it was to say hi. He always had a nice warm friendly smile or would say "I know something you don't know talk to you later"smile and leave. You were a very kind man John and I was in my 20's at the time and I often wonder how you were doing 30 some years later and I still remember you that showed the kindness that you had for everyone. I hope you rest in peace John and thank you for your kindness. Darren Gillis

To Lorraine, Irene and the entire Aucoin family, I want to send my deepest condolences to you all during this time. Always a gentleman I enjoyed speaking with John whenever I would meet him on my summer vacations to New Waterford for vacation. We would talk about the mines or how our families were doing. I admired his soft spoken ways and deep love for his family. May you be comforted with all the great memories of John during this difficult time.

Diane and family, please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your father and grandfather. John truly was a gentle man. His smile was infectious -- I don't think I ever saw him without it! He always had time to stop when we met and a kind word as well. May he rest in peace. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless. xo

To John’s family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your dear father. John , or ( polite John , as he was fondly known ) was just that. Polite, kind and a true gentleman. Our dads worked in the mines together showing mutual respect for each other.
I have no doubt he will be missed by many . Bless you all.

Our deepest sympathy on the death of your father, John. He was such a kind, gentle, soft spoken man who always had a smile. We met John through the SVDP Society. He was a member of the society at St. Agnes for many years, then joined the SVDP of The Parish of St. Leonard when the parishes amalgamated. He was a faithful member and enjoyed working at the food bank. He especially enjoyed working with his team and meeting and talking with the clients. RIP John. We know you certainly are in heaven.
