As a young woman just entering this complicated world, I couldn’t have been luckier to be blessed with the teachings and friendship of Teresa O’Brien. RIP Theresa, God knows you fought hard, but after losing Dr Bob, I imagine your heart was broken. I still miss Dr Bob, so I can only imagine what it was like for you, God Bless you, you are now with the love of your life, happy sailing.
to your family, my thoughts and prayers are with you, it is very hard to lose one parent, then to lose another so soon after, your mom was a lovely person, we would have a chat whenever she was working in the office and I would be there for an appointment, I still miss your dad, he had been my Dr since he came here, and we would talk, I would always ask about your mom, and Dr Bob would always say that Theresa was a very strong person, I don't know how he did it, looking after his patients and caring for your mom. They are together now and sailing around the heavens, God Bless them both, and they were so proud of their children and what you did with your lives, God Bless you all

To Séan, Clíona and Teresa’s entire family, my deepest regrets on your loss.
Teresa changed the way I viewed the world for the better when I was a student of hers at University of Cape Breton. She was funny, intelligent, compassionate and always the teacher guiding and passing on life lessons, even when you were unaware she was doing so, the gentle nudge or a big push to awaken that thirst for knowledge. I was fortunate to have been a student and friend of hers while at UCB and for all these years afterwards, it has certainly made all the difference in how I moved forward as a young adult and viewed the world. So sorry to hear of Teresa's passing. A truly lovely person and one of the kindest people I ever knew. My two younger girls spent countless hours at her home for sleepovers and play times with her daughter. Any child in the neighborhood was always welcome in her home and treated with kindness and generosity.
