Obituary of Judith "Judy" Melissa Campbell, Glace Bay

We the family of Judith Melissa “Judy” Campbell, age 56 are saddened to announce her passing on Sunday, August 8th, 2021 after her long-fought battle with Huntington's Disease. Judy was a resident of Seaview Manor, Glace Bay. She worked as a passenger screening agent at the J.A. Douglas McCurdy Airport for most of her working career where she developed lifelong friendships with her fellow co-workers of whom she will be sorely missed. Judy was a kind and wonderful person, caring wife and mother. She leaves behind to mourn, her loving and devoted husband, Darrell, children, Kyle (Veronica), Edmonton, Alberta, Colin and Mitchell, both at home. Judy is also survived by her mother, Rodena “Sis” (MacKeigan) Spencer, GB, sisters, Joan (John) Livingston, GB, Cheryl, GB, brothers, George (Shelly) Spencer, Halifax, Kevin (Elaine) Spencer, GB, Darrell (Esther) Spencer, Alta., Blair (Sherry) Spencer, Ont., Wayne (Coleen) Spencer, Homeville, David (Jacqui) Spencer, Alta., Donnie, Alta and many nieces and nephews. Judy was predeceased by her father, Robert “Trennie” Spencer and a brother, Bobbie. As per request, cremation has taken place, a service will be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Kent Cadegan and the staff at the Manor for their caring and professionalism shown to Judy during her long illness.
