My condolences to Billy's family. Rest in peace my wonderful, longtime friend! Bill and I met in Grande Prairie, AB, over twenty years ago. His heart was as big, as he was tall. I last seen him in Edmonton in early August,2021. I just found out of his passing,on Thanksgiving. I knew something was a miss when I had regularly seen him around and he'd always kept in touch. What a beautiful ode to Billy are the words of his family in the obituary! I met Billy only once or twice, and he was indeed a kind man, but I have been loved by the MacIntyre family for over 30 years. Dear Frances, Vince, Brenda, and the MacIntyre family: We were saddened this week to read of Billy’s passing. He sounded to be a very kind and generous man and his obituary is a beautiful tribute to his life. Take comfort that he is now reunited with his much loved family members who have gone before him and is probably enjoying a cup of good Cape Breton tea and some of Spickie’s treats. His kind and giving spirit will live on in your many memories of him. Our condolences and love to all of you.
