Karen,Jody, Glen& brother Archie We would like to offer our sincere sympathy to you on the passing of your beautiful mother& sister.We remember with fondness Flossie& Rannie in their younger years.We always enjoyed their company& spirit.Flossie always had a welcoming smile& you always felt relaxed in her presence.She was a "real down to earth person" as we would say in New Waterford, which showed respect for someone. Glen, Jody, Karen and families ..... We were so sorry to hear of Ma's passing. She and your Dad were a big part of my teenage years in Springhill and Amherst and I smile when I think back to you guys and your Dad teasing her to get her laughing. I'll also always remember how she would try to get me eat cookies or something, while waiting for Glen to get ready to go wherever we we going and asking me a few questions ..... Like .... "How're ya doing now Dave, how's your family?" Or, "now what are you and Glen (sometimes Glennie) up to tonight Dave?" To which I remember Rannie responding "oh Flossie, probably up to no-good, eh Dave" or something like that .... Your Mom will be remembered as your Dad is remembered. We were saddened to learn of your dear mother’s passing. I remember spending many hours in her kitchen in Springhill with Jody. My heart breaks for all of you, especially Karen, Jody and Glen . Even though she was my grandaunt, she will always be Aunt Flossie to me. Aunt Flossie had a warm friendly smile and a quiet tone to her voice that made everyone feel loved and welcomed when they met her. She was truly a blessed and loving soul and I am honored to have known her in my life. I will always treasure all the special moments and conversations that we shared. She will be missed by everyone who had the opportunity and privilege to have met her.
