To the family of Joe Marsh... a life well lived - have only wonderful memories of visiting Joe and Phyllis many years ago in their place in Ingonish Centre and in Sydney...knew them through my sister Flora Anne and her husband Freeman Whitty as they were close friends for years... living in PEI we rarely saw them in recent years but will never forget the wonderful times had with them including music/fun/story telling... may the wonderful memories sustain you during those lonesome moments for a life well lived! Very very best to you all... holding you in my heart - Judy Donovan Whitty, Ch'town, PEI Dec. 24, 2021

So sorry to hear about Joe’s passing. He was a wonderful friend and I’m sure he was an even better father. He was a great guy to work with and a better golfing partner.
I tore my achilles tendon a while ago and I won’t be able to go to the burial sevice. But please accept my very sincere condolences.

So sorry to read of Joe’s passing. I worked with Joe at Devco for many years, and this fine gentleman became a dear friend. I heard all about Phyllis, Michelle and Darlene, as he spoke of his family lovingly. I also heard plenty about his exploits on the golf course in Ingonish, where he only carried three clubs and one ball! My deepest condolences to his family.

Shelly, Dar, and Families:
We are heartbroken to hear of Joe’s passing. He was an important part of our family and he was always interested to hear how we all where doing. He had that special skill of making you feel like you were the only one in the room when he talked to you. He has left us with many great memories and may you all be comforted by your memories of this sweet man.
With heartfelt condolences,
Nancy and Gary

Joe was a very much loved member in our family. One of our fondest memories of joe was when he played golf with our daughter, Sarah. Sarah really looked forward to playing golf with Uncle Joe. Their first game together- Sarah thought this was going to be a PIECE OF CAKE”. Well this little girl was in for a big surprise!!!! Uncle joe was a very very good golfer. Well at the end of their 9 holes, Sarah knew she didn’t beat him. Joe being the kind and gentle man he was told Sarah they TIED. Needles to say, that was how joe was—that sweet and kind way about him.
Needless to say, we are going to miss him!!!
Rest In Peace
God bless you
Love
Linda, Bob, and Sarah Collez.

Dear Marsh Family,
I read with sadness the news of Joe's death. I knew Joe from days growing up in Reserve and as a brother priest. I always enjoyed being with him as we had wonderful conversations. I would visit him or he would call me from Harbor Stone and it was always a good encounter.
My sympathies and condolences, care and concern, friendship and prayer,
God bless you.
Fraternally
