Dear Nina and family,
Sending our deepest condolences on Eric's passing. I have many fond memories of Eric, having spent so much of my childhood in and around your home, playing with Bill. Many of the neighborhood kids thought your yard ideal for hide-and-seek, tag, and any games we could imagine. There was never any doubting Eric was an educator. He was kind and patient with the lot of us, even when we scribbled chalk all over your newly paved driveway. It meant a lot to kids on the block to have a safe place to play. I'm retired 8 years now (Dr. Michael Gallivan) and I always appreciated how good you were, especially when my Mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and you were so helpful.
Mom (Alvira MacDonald-98) knew your Mom & Dad and she was so pleased to meet them both at Victoria Haven (Mom moved there in May this year).

We were very sad to hear of Erics passing.Our condolences are extended to Nina& his children.Eric& i were classmates at St F X.We travelled back& forth almost every weekend as Eric married Nina ,the love of his life, during his BEd year.Most of the conversation was directed to Nina.It did not seem that anyone else existed.In our younger years we spent a lot of time together with Chrissy& Fraser & Anna & i.As our families grew we spent most of our time with our own families.We were able to get together occasionally& always had a wonderful time.Eric was always well organized & ready for any event.Eric was a great father& husband.He will be missed dearly by his family& friends. We are so very sad to hear about Eric. Such a gentle man with a lovely smile.
He welcomed our family to visit his special place in Catalone..
Mom always told this story about Eric dropping something off at her house when Glenna and Joe were first dating. She had a toy fox terrier that ran out to greet Eric she thought, instead the dog bit a hole in the bottom of his pants leg!
