Obituary of Victor "Vic" Allan Berthiaume, Dominion

It is with great sadness, that we the family announce the passing of Victor Allan Berthiaume, age 53 on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 at the CBRH, Sydney. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Ray and Thelma (Peori) Berthiaume. Victor enjoyed his time working as a cook and was also an avid hunter and fisherman. His artistic mind lent to his sketching and poetry abilities. Victor was always laughing and joking around with his family and friends. He spent hours driving his quad and held a special place in his heart for animals, especially Daisy Mae, whom he lost many years ago. Victor will be forever missed by his brothers, Jimmy, Craig and Raymond Berthiaume, sons, Chris and Colin Currie and Nicholas Holloway. There is a large extended family and many friends with fond memories of Victor. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. Fr. Dan Boudreau presiding. Memorial donations in memory of Victor may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
