Obituary of Donna Marie Bernard, New Waterford

With heavy hearts and a deep sadness, we the family announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Donna Marie Bernard on Jan. 6, 2022. Born in New Waterford on January 23, 1957, she was the daughter of the late George and Caroline (Bennett) Devoe. Mom lived for her family and friends. She loved going to Bingo, playing cards, and just having fun; especially with her grandchildren. Donna is survived by her daughters, Tracy (Don) and Deanna (Jason), both of New Waterford and sons, Buddy (Jamie), Toronto and Rick (Winter), Lower Sackville; grandchildren, Justin, Victoria, Ryan, Breton and Cameron, Cassandra, John, Jade, Sapphire and Diamond; brothers, Wayne (Marlene), George (Lori), Michael (Carol-Anne) and Wanda (Dave), all of Ontario. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her love, Gary 'Moe' MacNeil. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and guidance of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford, where a private funeral service will be held with Father Peter McLeod officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
