I worked with Buddy at Glace Bay High and came to know him as a genuine gentleman, being considerate and polite to others at all times. I also saw him and his lovely wife often at Big Glace Bay Beach, strolling along the shoreline, still a loving couple after many years as husband and wife. I will remember him fondly as a fellow teacher and friend. My sympathies to his entire family for the loss of Buddy. Your lives now become the memorial to his life. Our condolences to you Rosemary, Judy, and all of your family. I certainly had great respect for Buddy and his many gifts. I remember his beautiful voice in the Men’s choir, his singing at St. Patrick’s Day concerts at the old Parish Hall. Buddy was like a father to me for many years. He listened and paid attention, and through his kind words and actions you knew you were loved. I truly appreciated his support, advice, music, and most of all his love for my children. They learned so much from him and treasured his attention.
