I had the privilege of meeting Wallace twice, once in 2008 and once in 2016, I learned alot of family history and laughed about the stories of my father Richard and uncle Eric, my condolences to the family members I`ve never met but will always be in my heart, the son of Thomas Richard ,,Brad Crowdis

So so sorry to hear of Wally's passing, Glace Bay has certainly lost one of it's best. Growing up in Glace Bay it seems that I knew Wally forever, he was always out there leading the way in so form or fashion. As I remember he was a beautiful skater and a terrific dancer. For a time we both worked for the NSPI, another thing he was good at. Rest in Peace Wally, God Bless, go with God my friend

So sorry to hear about Wally’s passing. He was a very helpful, kind man. He would help anybody in any way he could. We worked together on setting up the outdoor Christmas display at St.Leo’s for many years.

Myrna and Family. I was sorry to learn of Wally's passing. I first became acquainted with him while living in Glace Bay. We then became reacquainted after i joined NSPC and was, on occasion, in the Glace Bay-Sydney area.
He was always welcoming, outgoing and pleasant.

Our sincere condolences on Wally’s passing, may the glow of that ever-present smile and his outlook on life always be remembered and treasured. He was as you are so aware; a terrific person who believed and more importantly practiced doing more for others. He will now be able to talk with Bernie regularly, which they both will enjoy.

To Gail and all the Crowdis family. Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your father. I first met Wally by the backyard fence, By the time we shook hands he knew who I was, where I was from, and who my family was. I'll remember that day with fondness, not only did I get a history of my Mother's family, He gave me one of our neighborhoods. And it was easy to tell he knew what he was talking about.
