Obituary of Wayne Thomas MacDougall, New Waterford

Wayne Thomas MacDougall, 74, of New Waterford passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022 at New Waterford Hospital. Born in New Waterford, he was a son of the late Neil and Marion (Turnbull) MacDougall. Wayne worked as a Millwright and was a member of Local 2309 in Toronto for over 20 years. He truly loved music and travelling throughout the country in his van. Surviving are his brother, Neil; nephew, Wayne; close friend, Bill 'Chilly' McMillan. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Diane Burton-MacDougall. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care and guidance of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Victoria, at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
