Obituary of Robert M. "Bob" Crosby, LLB, Q.C., Glace Bay

Robert “Bob” Crosby, age 73 passed away on Sunday, May 15th, 2022 in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Adam Joseph & Anna Dolorita (Currie) Crosby. Bob graduated from St. FX University with his B.A. and went on to obtain his law degree from Dalhousie University in 1972. He is survived by three sons, Eric, Brian (Sihan), Adam, two sisters, Mary Jo (Andre) Chiasson, Jeanie Crosby (Bern Romeo), three brothers, Don (Eileen), Graham (Betty), Kenneth (Anne Hines) and his sister in law, Dianne (Hicks) Crosby. Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by his brother, Andrew. Special thanks to the “Boys in the Hut”. There will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Glace Bay. Memorial donations in Bob’s memory may be made to Hospice/ Palliative Care.
