I just learned the news of Ed's passing. I'm so sorry to hear. He was such a wonderful man. Noah had such a great Dad! I'm so grateful for meeting Ed and all of you. Ed taught us all what's important in life and not to sweat the minor inconveniences. He always looked at the bright side of a difficult situation. Rest easy now bud. Sending you all lots of love.

Edmond was an excellent soldier with the Cape Breton Highlanders. He was a kind young man with a big heart, always setting a fine example for others to follow. Edmond left the CB Highlanders early in his career to focus on his family and to battle ALS. MCpl Edmond White will be missed by all who had the pleasure of serving with him.
Rest easy soldier.

I grew up next to the White family home on Warren Avenue and I want to send my heart felt condolences To Edmond's father Joe White and family as well as to Carol, her family and to Edmond's two sisters and his son.. ALS is a horrible illness with no conscience. I lost a friend to it just this past winter. May time heal your hearts and may it also strengthen your memories of your beloved son,brother,dad,uncle and grandson.

My deepest condolences to Carol and family. Eddie was always a very special person to the Petrie family. When we had the skateboard shop in town Eddie was like part of the family. He spent many hours hanging out at the shop as we got to know Eddie very well. He was a very kind, happy young man who loved to skateboard and one who had many skateboarding friends. He was alway had a smile on his face and a great lookout on life. My heart broke when I first heard of his illness,knowing how active he was. Well my dear friend your pain is over and I can see you now skateboarding your way around heaven, trying to jump the biggest clouds. Fly high my dear friend, I was so lucky to have met such a wonderful you man.
