There is no greater pain than the loss of a loved one! With deep sadness in our hearts, we say “Not Good-bye” but “see you later” to our beloved Neil, who peacefully passed away July 24, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Neil was a son of the late John and Mary (MacNeil) MacKay of Dominion. He was employed at St. Joseph’s/ Glace Bay Community Hospital for over 24 years. He loved playing darts and was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 78, Dominion.

Neil leaves to mourn, his loving devoted wife, Anne; his proudest accomplishment- his children; Mary Anne (Stephen McIntyre) and Matthew. Also, his pride and joy, his precious grandchildren, Emma and Jake McIntyre whom he loved dearly, brothers, Mike (Sandra), John (Jane-deceased), Earl (Shelley); sister, Diane (Wayne Tarso), several nieces and nephews.
