I met this beautiful lady and her husband at a place I worked in Indiana. They attended a dinner at Coyote Crossing and Ray was drawing a map of cape breton for someone as I was walking by.Myself,being a caper,I immediately started a conversation with him.I was so excited to meet someone who lived just across the water from me in C.B ! They gave me their phone number and we hugged . Such a beautiful friendly couple.Sorry to say but time went on and I lost that number so we never reconnected .Later in years,after I read of Ray's passing I met Irene at a Natalie Macmaster concert....I was soooo thrilled ! We chatted a bit and she introduced me to one of her grand daughters.They always popped in my mind from time to time and I feel lucky to have met them.My deepest condolences to all her family & friends for your great loss . together again they are and may They fly high and rest easy.....I'll never forget what a beautiful, thoughtful caring couple you were .
