Obituary of Glenn Walsh, Reserve Mines

It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of a beloved, husband, father and family man, Glenn Walsh, age 67 on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at the CBRH, Sydney.

Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Ray & Jean Walsh.

Glenn spent his life driving long haul trucks (18 wheeler’s). He enjoyed playing video games with his grandchildren. Glenn was a kind and friendly man who cherished his friends and loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his wife Barbara (Binder), children, Justin, Raylene (Mark), Michelle (Tyler), Megan as well as his grandchildren, Kyle, Anthony, Samantha, Emily, Jace and Paisley.

Also surviving is his brother, Arnold (Carolann), sisters, Brenda, Heather, sister-in-law, Janet Walsh, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Glenn was predeceased by brothers, Dennis, Timmy and Barry Walsh.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Glace Bay.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 17^th, 2022 from 5 pm to 7 pm at his residence, 11 Glenesk Trailer Park Road, Reserve Mines.
