Obituary of Rose Anita MacLeod, Glace Bay

With my deepest sorrow and regrets, my mother Rose has died on Tuesday, October 11^th, 2022 in Glace Bay.

Mom was born on July 3rd, 1934 in Gaspe Quebec.

She is survived by her daughter Sandra (Ronnie) MacSween in Alberta, grandchildren, Jessie (Tom) Dobie; Joshua (Brandi) MacSween, Ainslie MacSween and great grandchild, Locklyn Dobie, all in Alberta.

Rose is also survived by her sisters Alice in Toronto, Janet, Lydia and Theresa, all in Montreal. She has many nieces and nephews in Glace Bay, Montreal, Toronto, Maryland USA, and Spain.

She was predeceased by her husband James MacLeod in 2020, parents, Joseph & Elizabeth (Methot) Asselin, as well as, siblings Anthony, Mary, Eva, Electa, Narcisse, Irene, Sanford, Margaret, Betty, Ralph, and Emmett.

A special thanks to nieces Sandra MacKillop, Barbara Odell, and nephew Wilfred Ogilvie for all the help you gave to my mother. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and may God bless you.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Glace Bay.

INTERMENT WILL BE HELD IN ST. ANNE'S CEMETERY ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 16, 2023 AT 1 P.M.
