Obituary of Paul MacLellan

Paul MacLellan New Waterford It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our husband, father, brother and uncle, Paul MacLellan, age 76, on Thursday, December 8, 2016, at the New Waterford Hospital, with his loving family by his side. Born in New Waterford on August 26, 1940, he was the son of the late John and Flora MacLellan. Paul was a coal miner for 31years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and watching sports. Paul is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary (Price); son, Paul Jr; brothers, Hector, Michael, James, and George; sisters, Marcella, Emma, Georgina. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by a sister, Georgina, age four; brothers, Alex, Donald, John. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford. There will be no visitation. A funeral mass, officiated by Fr. Ray Huntley, will be celebrated 1 pm Tuesday, December 13, 2016, in St. Leonard's Parish Church, Mount Carmel Ave., New Waterford. A luncheon will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Plummer Ave., New Waterford. Memorial donations in memory of Paul may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
