Amanda please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your mom. Niecie always had a smile when we talked at the army and navy bingo she always loved the elephant trinkets i would give her. She is now reunited with her love stephen and is probably making sure her bingo cards are mixed up. Thinking of all her family during this sad time God Bless.

Shelly, Cherie, Amanda and Haylee, my condolences on the loss of your Mom. Will miss her smile, contagious laugh that would light up a room and her undeniable skill playing bingo with a whack of cards, find a number you forgot to dab across the table AND carry a conversation all at same time. :D

To the family,
My deepest condolences on Niecie’s passing. I first met her as a teenager while working at the New Waterford Community Centre bingo games. Always laughing and smiling, she was sure to remind you to mix up her cards and if you sold her “unlucky cards”. I am sure she and your Dad are together with an XlL Tim’s and dancing away.

Donnie and I were very blessed to get to know Stephen and Neicie through her brother Georgie. As Cape Bretoners say they were "the salt of the earth" So caring and kind even as they were going through their own troubles. Many a gathering really started when Stephen and Neicie came. They are dancing in the sky now and playing nobodys child for Gladys. Rest in peace Neicie and sincere sympathy to the family.

I visited Nova Scotia in 2014/2015. My late mother Rose Van Oosterhout (Longphee) spoke highly of Niecie and Stephen and assured me that I'd love them. Despite only meeting the two of them once, they welcomed me in and we all had the best time singing/playing guitar (Stephen), sharing stories, laughs and hugs with other family members. My condolences to you all during this difficult time. May you find comfort in her reunion with the loved ones she deeply cared for. Xx
