Obituary of Annette Bernice Campbell, New Waterford
It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of Annette Bernice Campbell (nee Muise), wife of Kevin Campbell, of Quispamsis, announce her passing on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at her home.
She was born May 14th, 1963, the 4th youngest of twelve children to the late James “Squibby” and Helen (Grant) Muise of New Waterford. Although she lived in Quispamsis, her heart and soul was in Cape Breton. Annette was a devoted grandmother, mother, wife and friend; she had unconditional love for everyone. Annette‘s love was strongest in her dedication to Ariah and Brody; they were her world and made her life complete. Her willingness to help others extended to all, friends and strangers alike. She was a fierce competitor for Amazon and Uber: if anyone needed anything, forget Prime shipping, she could deliver in an instant and it didn’t matter how far, she always got people where they needed to be. Annette welcomed everyone into her home and treated them as family. Her heart of gold shined through her smile and was heard through her laughter.
Annette was an accomplished LPN, who practised in both Cape Breton and Saint John area. She was always ready and willing to assist those in their darkest times. Annette was passionate about her work; she served as a role model to her girls and instilled in them the importance of education and doing what you love.
Annette is survived by her husband Kevin, daughters; Ashley Campbell and Amy Campbell (Matthew Shupe), grandchildren; Ariah and Brody, siblings; Patricia (Andy) Baker, Agnes, Johnny (Anita), Mary (Phil) Lynch, Joan (Peter) Kaltsunas, Helen Muise (Stewart Bunbury), Robert, Johann, Jimmy, as well as several nieces, nephews, brother-in-law David (Cheryl) Campbell, and sister-in-law Linda (Rick) Campbell-Boyd and extended family. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. Annette was truly unique and irreplaceable.
Besides her parents, Annette is predeceased by her sisters, Elizabeth Bodnar (Tim) and Phyllis Lamey (Joe), father/mother in-law, J. Gordon and E. Joan Campbell.
