Obituary of Francis Joseph Odo: Toronto, New Waterford

We, the family of Francis Joseph Odo, 61, of New Victoria, are heart broken to announce his passing on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Bridgepoint Hospital, Toronto, ON. 

Born in New Waterford, NS, Francis is the son of the late Vincent and Mary Odo.

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Leigh, Toronto; brothers, Ronald, Vincent, of Toronto, Gerald (Brenda), Halifax, Kevin (Amy), Guelph; sisters, Tilda, New Victoria, Josephine (Joey), New Waterford, Ann Marie (Ebby), P.E.I., Theresa Collins, Beverly (Clint), New Waterford, Patricia (Stephen), New Victoria, Rozina, New Waterford.

Besides his parents, Francis was predeceased by one sister and one brother.

Francis' passion was playing his guitar and mouth organ, playing darts, fishing, hockey (Maple Leafs), and collecting hockey cards. For the little that he had, he had a great heart and a soft spot for those who were without. He would do anything to help those in need. He worked in construction and building management. Our brother was a very good soul with a very big heart. God bless you Francis; till we all see you again. Love, your family.
