Very sad to hear of Doug's passing. We only have fond memories of Doug and we always appreciated his generosity. Whenever we visited Glace Bay, Doug and Barb opened up their home to welcome us. On one occasion we even set up our motor home in their backyard.
Doug will be missed. Our condolences to his mother, Mildred, Barb, Amanda, Kent and family.

Condolences to the entire family, especially to Millie who was a very good friend of my Mother, Jean MacLeod. Encounters with the "Hayes" family were almost daily, whether on the way to school or playing on the street going from yard to yard having fun.
