Carmella "Sissy" Hill, Reserve Mines, Sydney Obituary
Carmella Hill, age 84 passed away on Monday, March 6th, 2023 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Glace Bay and raised in Reserve Mines, Carmella was the daughter of the late James and Alice (Wareham) Hill.
She resided in Sydney for many years and is survived by her cousins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Bridget Hiscock.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. A funeral mass will be held in St. Josephs Church, Reserve Mines on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11 am followed by a burial in the parish cemetery. Fr. Dan Boudreau presiding.
