To Neil’s entire family my deepest regrets on the loss of such a fine human. I remember Neil from his time at the Paramount Theatre and with the many volunteer activities he was involved in. Neil certainly had making New Waterford through his volunteering a better place, his top priority throughout his life. RIP Neil.

I worked at the old nurses residence years ago and Neilie lived across the street. We loved his almost daily visits to our offices. He was one-of-a-kind, so gentle and funny. He had a joke for us most of the time. He loved to laugh. Every time, even years later if I'd meet him in N.W. he would say "remember the time" and would bring back beautiful memories of those days. Neil was a truly holy man and I'm sure God has reserved the highest place in heaven for him. RIP Neilie.

Neilly, as we called him, was a lifelong friend. Neil was a gentle soul, always in a good mood & a pleasure to converse with. We missed his visits to Tim’s after his move to Thompson St.

I remember Neil from my growing up years and as a teenager attending high school and Little X--we both were heavily involved in Catholic Youth Club at the Strand-spent many hours playing cards rummoli and other games with him at the Strand at CYC-my memories of him as a person are all positive and any time I and my wive were in New Waterford we made an attempt to visit with him and take him out for a meal..well done they good and faithful servant

I am VERY sorry to read of Neil's death. I have memories of Neil from my earliest memories in life. He was friends with my cousin so my memories start from an early age. Then all of the years at the theatre, at church, or just meeting on Plummer Ave. coming in or out of various stores. Neil loved to laugh and was such a good natured person. Neil was kind to everyone. Life goes by all too quickly. My prayers are with you - and for Neil. Thank you for the gift that Neil has been, especially to New Waterford.

I grew up in New Waterford and Neil Visited at our house and my grandparents home. He was a very close friend to many especially my Late Aunt Florence (Flossy) whom he worked with at the theater. He Became our neighbor on 10th Street as we rented the other half of the Company house he was living in with his brother. After I moved away for work Neil always found time to chat with me when we would visit back home. He has been a true friend to us all and we will miss his gentle ways and great laugh along with his advice which was usually very good. Neil just know we loved you like family and always will cherish the great memories of us all together. You will be missed deeply. Rest in Peace My friend and fly high with your dear brother.
