We are very sorry to hear of your moms passing. Lucy certainly left her mark in Glacé Bay. She never missed a baseball or hockey game, especially when her boys were playing. She could be heard cheering loudly amongst the crowd. Lucy new everyone in town and was friendly to all. May your numerous memories made with your mom comfort each of you during this difficult time.

We would like to send our sincerest condolences to Lucy’s family, on her passing. “Grandma Lucy” became another grandmother to our girls Jillian, Olivia and Sophia. Lucy’s regular visits to Fredericton and Scotchtown were a highlight for the girls, with an abundance of stories and cherry Certs to go around. And some entertaining swims in Grand Lake.
Lucy will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

As your neighbours in Dalhousie we remember vividly grandma Lucy’s visits at your home. Every kid in the neighborhood awaited her visit impatiently. I sure remember my girls being excited when she was at your home as she often played games and handed out treats to them. She was one of a kind with an abondant energy, loads of kindness and warmth. I had many conversations with her over the years and she always conveyed how so proud she was of you guys and her entire family.

Jackson Family,

I have fond memories of being a young pharmacy student being trained by a women who was conscientious, empathic and mischievous and realized the value of building relationships. What a great lady . Lucy always had a smile with a twinkle in her eye. i remember the laughs we would have at the ball field when e would beat the cardinals with 2 beauties, The fox Harry MacMullin and the legend himself Jimmy Wilson. Lucy was always screaming atthe top of her lungs for the cardinals but deep down i always knew she was a reds fan .

My condolences to the family. I enjoyed meeting up with Lucy years ago while doing my Waye family research. She recalled her uncle John Waye and his wife visiting from New York. I was able to give her some information also so it was interesting and she was pleased to share. She talked about living in the historic French Block. I told her of one her relatives who was killed at the World Trade Center. Delightful person.
