We are so very sorry for your loss. Mike and I first met Donnie at Robin's and thereafter we shared a booth, told stories, and had lots of laughs. He was a special person. Humble, kind, and considerate are words that come to mind when thinking about Donnie. It was easy to make friends with Donnie; he made it easy. I was so sorry to hear of Donnie’s passing. I drove him to see his daughter a couple of years ago and we had an opportunity to catch up and chat it was so nice and he was still as nice as in our younger years . we were schoolmates and our fathers also good friends many horse race days :) God bless RIP !

Donny was a human angel on earth.
He was a very special friend to my dad Ron. They spent many hours with their friends at Robins Grand Lake Rd Sydney. It seemed more like a brotherhood my dad shared with Donny.

I am very sorry on hearing the very sad news about Donnie. I have known Donnie for over 50 years as I hung around with his brother ( Johnnie) for most of my entire life.Donnie was a great easy going guy that loved the harness races a hobey that was passed on from his father . He will be sadly missed by his close friends and sister Kay and his brother Johnnie who also stepped in as a father figure when their dad passed away. My heart felt condolences go out to Kay, Johnnie and Deb and the rest of Donnie's family. He was a win,place and show in my book.

Debbie,Johnnie and family. Donnie was so much fun. I worked with him at Robins many years ago. We shared so many laughs together and usually at each other's expense. Donnie got me back for all my pranks to him by wrapping my car in a giant roll of cellophane which took some time to remove!! He constantly made us all laugh.. and was an easy going person who was welcome company during a shift. It's hard to believe he left this world already. Wow Donnie was a awesome person inside and out. He was at mom and dad very often. Dad loved to see him come up the driveway and they would spend hours in the barn. I feel I had a great friend in Donnie. RIP MY FRIEND YOU WILL BE MISSED
