Obituary of Angus "Angie" Joseph Tracey, Glace Bay

Mr. Angus Joseph Tracey, age 64 of Glace Bay, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 11^th, 2024 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, where he was surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Glace Bay, Angus was the son of late Joseph and Mary Belle (Steele) Tracey.

Angus worked at the B.C. Pulp Mill, House of Wong and many grant jobs. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Angus enjoyed his time playing proline and watching sports, he truly loved the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also enjoyed camping, going for drives and many other activities.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ann (MacNeil) Tracey, four children, Angus (Christine,) Donnie (Jodi), John and John Cory. Angus was a grandfather to two beautiful grandchildren, Keegan and Hunter Tracey.

He will also be missed by brothers, Brian (Amelia), John (Lorena), sisters, Barb (Patty), Diane (Roy) and Joyce.

Besides his parents, Angus was predeceased by his sisters, Julia (Paul) and Liz (Frank).

Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay.

A celebration of his life will be taking place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 20^th at 275 Lower North Street, Glace Bay.
