We miss Eddie, and we think of him and talk about him every day. Our friendship started gradually, as an acquaintance, as someone who helped us around the yard, and who in a short time allowed us to love him as a dear friend. He was a most exceptional human being, soft-spoken, gentle, kind, infinitely well mannered, with a sense of humor about himself and a rich and wise understanding of and philosophy about life. In his stories, and in his quiet manner, his love for his family, and his memory of his beloved parents always shone through. We are richer for having known him, and poorer for having lost him. My deepest regrets on the passing of Eddy. For many years Eddy and Ted were customers of Bruckschwaiger's tailor shop in Glace Bay. We always enjoyed ours chats. I remember how caring he was with his mom and brother. A lovely gentleman. God Bless Wanda Bruckschwaiger

To Eddy’s family—Eddy and Theodore used to visit my late father, Gordon Hiscott, and my late sister Peggy Hiscott, who always enjoyed their visits.(We are related through my grandmother, and your mother.)Theodore might remember me from our trips to/from the train station , on his travels to Halifax.
