Obituary of Olive May Ferguson: New Waterford, Halifax
It is with extreme sadness we announce the tragic passing of miss Olive May Ferguson on January 29, 2024.
Olive was born on June 7, 2023 to parents Colleen MacSween and Brandon Ferguson. From the first time she opened her eyes all she knew was love. Though Olive's time on this earth was brief, the impact of her presence will be everlasting.
She was a source of boundless love, laughter, and innocence, captivating the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Olive was no stranger to adventure. Her parents loved taking her everywhere and she loved being everywhere they went. From Halifax to Cape Breton and everywhere in between. She visited countless beaches, pools, went skating at the oval, on multiple dates with mom, hockey games and so forth. Her tiny smile could light up an entire room and it was biggest when she saw dad coming home from work.
She is survived by her loving parents, Colleen MacSween and Brandon Ferguson; grandparents, Michael and Patricia MacSween, Janice Bursey (John) and countless other family and friends.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of support and is asking for privacy during this impossible time.
Forever loved and forever perfect. We'll miss and love you forever. Rest in paradise, Sweet Miss Olive May.
A private funeral service will be held in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, New Waterford, with Father Jim Oliver officiating. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at: www.vjmcgillivray.ca.
