My prayers are with you and your family Yolanda. Tootsie was a wonderful lady and I loved the friendship she and Leno had with Mom and Dad.
The Columbian Balls and the Knights of Columbus events were just a few of the things that whole group shared. Our parents are the end of an era and will be missed and remembered everyday.

As I look at Tootsie’s picture my mind went back to memories of nice chats with her when picking up orders from the catalogue. She was always so kind and a great listener! Tootsie lived just three doors away from me on 12 th Street in NW. until she married Leno.

My condolences to you Yolanda and family and all that knew and loved her. Your mom was filled with a vibrant spirit of generosity and infectious joy. It was wonderful to know her. I loved chatting with her - her warmth and laughter was always close. My memories of her right now are causing a gentle smile to surface, just as she would have had it. I think she will be sharing her flair and love and perhaps a few tips on scoring well at the lanes above. Toots, you will be fondly remembered. I believe she will be smiling down on all those who crossed her path. Her playful nature can remain here through us, until we meet again.
