To the MacDonald Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Trixie's death. I knew her when I worked at New Waterford Consolidate Hospital many years ago. A lot of time has passed since I was there, but never will I forget the good people of that community. Trixie provided good care for the patients she helped....and a friendly approach with the staff. As you grieve her loss, please be assured of my prayers for you.

Christy, Nicole and Ray, and families; I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. Trixie was an integral part of my growing up, babysitting for Christy and “CoCo” on Bridge night was a thrill for my independence and early money managing. Trixie and Lawlor were great friends, as well as neighbours, to Bernard and Pauline. I do remember at least one Columbian Ball they all attended and how glamourous they looked. Trixie was pivotal in my career path, as she spoke so well of her career as a medical laboratory technologist, that I eventually followed the same path, with no regrets. Trixie was always involved in so many committees and was a force with which to be reckoned. I regret that I hadn’t seen her in so long, though I thought of her often. She will be remembered and missed.

Vick`s mother Alice was Ray Nichol`s first cousin. I remember in the 1960`s we went to CB for a visit. Trixie and Nancy were cute teenagers. We enjoyed many evenings in Halifax, playing Rumolly , after she married Lawlor, then the three children came with them. She was a great lady and I realize that she will be greatly missed by everyone. We extend our sincere sympathy to the family. Victor and RoseMarie Mahar
