Obituary of Debra Huard, New Waterford

It is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Debra Huard, 65, on Sunday, Mar. 3, 2024 at New Waterford Hospital.

Born in Elliot Lake, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Lucien and Lorraine (Aucoin) Luce.

Debra had a great sense of humour, loved music and cared deeply for people. She had a huge heart and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Debra also loved the outdoors but was most known for collecting and displaying her snowmen. 

Surviving are best friend forever, Thomas Rogers; daughters, Carol Ann Luce, Lorraine Bryden and Stephanie Huard; brothers, Martin Luce, Tommy Rogers; sisters, Linda Luce, Mary (Sally) Luce and Lisa Rogers; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four nephews, and best friend, Jean Pink.

There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford on Thursday, Mar. 7, 2024 at 1 p.m. with Father Godwin Obike officiating.
