It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Elvis Aaron Reid at the age of 24 on April 1, 2024.

He was born Sept. 21, 1999 in New Waterford, NS, where he resided.

Elvis loved exploring nature and spending time in Iona. He had a love for music and working on cars. Elvis was a kind, gentle soul who was always there to lend a helping hand. 

He is survived by his Dad, Francis; his best friend and love of his life, Melissa, along with her mom, Sherry; four beautiful children whom he was dedicated to and were his pride and joy; Khloe, Kylie, Kayden and Karter. Also surviving are siblings; Allan, Clara, Tara, Murray, Christopher, Heather, and special sisters, Jean Elizabeth and Theresa; nieces, Faye, Charli, Gabby, Clara and Zoey; nephews, Jack, Daniel, Alexander, Keith, Brandon, James, Josh, Mitchell and Phoenix.

Elvis was predeceased by his Mom, Clara, whom he missed dearly; aunts, Jean Reid, Rita MacNamara, Linda Reid and Heather Tonary. Elvis will be missed by many friends, his cat, 'Ray' and little buddy, Mitchell.

Cremation has taken place under the care and guidance of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford. Graveside prayers will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 11 a.m. in St. Agnes Cemetery, New Waterford. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at: www.vjmcgillivray.ca.
