Sorry to hear about David and Dan Willie passing. I haven't seen either one of these fine gentlemen in quite a few years, but my father has kept me up to date on Dan Willie, his childhood classmate and recent grey haired NW Tim Horton's gang member. The Toronto CB Crew always spoke of their trips with David to Halifax for Basketball each year, and the antics apparently never ceased. Fair Winds and Following Seas Dan Willie and David - "The Phantom" (David would remember)

So sorry for the huge loss of this great individual who touched so many in his 60 years of living. His obit is a tribute to the wonderful footprints he left on the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. He was only young when I met him, the "witch lady" but time is a great healer, he eventually settled simply with Jeanette's friend Winnie. Memories are a graced gift from our Creator to carry us through when we can no longer see those we lose in the flesh, the Spirit is what we rely on. David left a huge part of his spirit with us, this is what will sustain us whenever we feel the void of his absence. Thoughts and prayers with each of you as you deal with the weight of this sadness, he was loved by all and you are too!!! blessings Winnie
