Obituary of Cameron (Camey) Darroch, New Waterford

Born September 27, 1932 and passed away September 29,2024 at 92 years of age.

Our Dad passed away at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Cameron and Marguerite (Mason) Darroch.

He is survived by his sons, Bernie and Wayne (Darlene); his daughters, Marguerite (Bernie) Pastuck, Valerie (Ray) Timmons and Karen MacNeil; brother, Blair (Rita); sister, Dale Ralsten, USA; six beautiful grandchildren, Shannon (Shawn) Cadden, Sheldon (LeeAnne) Pastuck, Craig (Jill) Darroch, Greg (Robin) MacNeil, Eileen (Cory) Milley and Karlene Darroch; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great- granddaughters. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and his buddies, Buller MacKenzie, Joe Aucoin, Red Cormier and Elaine Milley.

Besides his parents, Da was predeceased by the love of his life, Eileen; brother, Clarence; sister, Doreen Lefort; brother-in-law, Wayne Ralston. Special thanks to the Geriatric Clinic, Palliative Care, VON, EHS, V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, continuing care (Kelly Murphy) and Da’s Guardian Angels, Sandra, Helen and Kim.

There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and guidance of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford. A funeral service will be held at Calvin United Church, New Waterford, on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Duncan Roach officiating. A light lunch will follow in the Rev. Duncan Roach Fellowship Room. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery, Scotchtown.
