Evelyn Irene Reid, age 65 passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017 at her residence.

Born in Donkin, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Irene (MacInnis) Reid.

Evelyn enjoyed baking as a hobby. She is survived by one sister, Elaine (John) Mancuso, Delaware, USA.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Harry Reid, Niagara Falls, New York.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. Graveside prayers will be held in St. Gregory’s Cemetery, Donkin on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 2 pm with Fr. Norman MacPhee officiating.
