Joe was one of my oldest friends having worked together at the Keltic Lodge in the early 70s. Inspire of the distance apart he always kept in touch either directly, dropping in to visit my mom from time to time after my Dad passes away, or more recently through my daughter Kelley on facebook. To my New Waterford MacDonald cousins, I only knew Joe through his regular FB timeline updates and his heroic fight with his health issues. He sent me some great pictures of his summer working with my sister, Linda at Keltic Lodge in 1973. Pictures that our family will always cherish. He was a very uplifting spirit.
