Obituary of Timothy Evan Webber, New Waterford
With broken hearts and profound sadness, we the family, announce the sudden passing of our dear son, husband, and father, Timothy "Evan" Webber, age 29 of New Waterford on Saturday May 6, 2017.
Born on March 22, 1988 in Sydney, N.S., Evan was the loving son of Mike and Heather (Penney) Webber.
Evan worked as a labourer with LIUNA local 92 in Edmonton. Evan had so many great friends and enjoyed a lifetime of happiness; but what he enjoyed most was time spent with family, especially his beautiful wife, Ashley and his two children, Aiden and Avaiah whom he loved with every bit of his heart. Evan enjoyed playing hockey for hours with Aiden and movie nights with Avaiah and cherished every second they spent together.
Evan also had a love for the game of fastball, both playing and coaching. He spent many hours with his team the Scotchtown Raiders on and off the field and in 2011 led them to a Provincial title. Evan had a very special bond with both his parents and was known to them as their "boo bear".
Evan is survived by his wife, Ashley, son, Aiden and daughter, Avaiah, his dad, Mike, his mother and father in-law, Vince and Shelly (Ruelland) George; brother in-law, Dylan George, Uncles, Buddy (Lynn) Penney, John "Mingy" (Caroline) Penney and special aunt, Melissa Penney and cousins, Chris, Kyle, Robbie, Daniel, Brooklyn, Paige, friend and cousin, Brenda and special "sister", Katie.
Evan is predeceased by his Loving Mother, Heather; grandparents, Trudy and Melvin Penney, Theresa and Hilary Webber, grandfather in-law, Jules Ruelland and cousin, Jonathan (McNeil) Penney.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 3 p.m. until time of the service at 5 p.m., all in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Leo Penney officiating.
