Miss Sharon Lee Pyke passed away peacefully May 17, 2017, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. 

Born in Glace Bay, March 29, 1945, she was the daughter of the late John and   Ethel (Shepard) Pyke, both of Glace Bay. Sharon was born in St. Joseph's Hospital and enjoyed a 20 + year career working there with some amazing people.

She will be missed by her loving family, especially by her son Blaise and devoted sisters Bernice and Doreen.

In honoring Sharon’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay.

We ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sharon’s memory be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Interment will be at a later date in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney; where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Mom.
