To all of Karen's family and friends... at such an extremely difficult time ...so many of us wish we could do more than express our sympathy. I think I speak here for so many when I say that nothing is the same with her not here. Karen had the same whit that her mom blessed us all with....her easy going presence is what you depended on when you met up with her...Her family treasured her...her friends adored her and her neighborhood ...well it's forever changed without her. I think back to years ago. ...when I would come over to Janis 's house...and we would play cards in the basement with Karen...Joan...and many others ....i just remember even as a kid thinking ...how Karen single handedly made a card game so entertaining as we all laughed and laughed so hard at the things she did and said....I wanted the game to last all day....I know you will all treasure the memories you had with her ...and through the tears know that we are all here for you....Love and Light...Tammy Tighe MacNeil and family

Dear Loyde And James
I'm truly sorry to hear about Karen. When I met her my first thought was omg she's so friendly and I just felt so welcomed. I was glad to have her as my friend. One could tell right away that she has a heart of gold and would be there for whomever needed her and whenever. I'm glad that I talked to Karen on the the night before I fell blessed that I got to do that. My heart sank when I heard the news the next morning . One can tell that you are all a close family. I love when I see that

My deepest sympathy on the passing of Karen. Any time I was travelling Daley Road, I could almost always count on Karen being on the front porch and us giving each other a huge wave. We may not have physically spoken in a long time...but that wave kept us in touch. It certainly won't be the same passing there and not seeing her. We got to know her when she was a grounds supervisor at New Victoria School. She took great care of my little girl. She held her hand and walked around the school with her at recess and lunch time.
