I was the first of the 18 grandchildren. I will never forget the many times you told me the story about if my mom didn't get back to Cape Breton to adopt me you were going to keep me yourself. You have taught me many things in life Nana and the biggest of them is to love regardless of hardships and forgive no matter the cost. You lived your life for your family and no one could ever ask for a better grandmother or mother. You were both to me. I will miss you dearly but I am glad your pain is over. I am sure papa is happy to finally have you back.
I look forward to seeing you again one day but until that day comes you will forever be in my heart.

I knew your mother all my life, she was always smiling, happy and loved a good conversation.
