Audrey Hiscock Drinkwater, age 86 of Glace Bay passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Cove Guest Home, Sydney

Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Martha (Warren) Drinkwater.

Audrey was a very peaceful person with a good sense of humor and helped anyone who was in need. Christmas was her favorite time of year. Audrey enjoyed watching wrestling and animal nature shows. She was a very family orientated person who loved her children and her cat Moew. 

She is survived by daughters, Patricia Munroe, Barbara Goyan, Martha Drinkwater, Linda Reid, Charlotte Hiscock, Charlene Hiscock, Norma Hiscock; son, Earl, sisters, Alice , Shirley, Patricia, Helen; brothers Earl, Wayne, Richard, also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Charles; sons, Charles, Kenny.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street , Glace Bay. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Carol Gillard officiating. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
